How do I submit a case study as an Umbraco Partner?

This guide shows you how to submit a customer case study through the Partner Portal, what to enter in the Partner Profile link field, and what happens to your submission after you send it.

Before you start

You need your Partner Portal login. This is separate from your Umbraco ID and from your Umbraco Cloud login.

  • Umbraco HQ provides the credentials when your agency is onboarded as a partner.

  • The login is shared across your organisation rather than tied to one person. We recommend using a shared company email address for it.

  • You can change the login details yourself after you sign in for the first time, under Profile.

If nobody at your agency has the credentials, contact Umbraco Support (or ask to talk with a human, if you're chatting with Umboto), and we will help you get set up.

Steps

1. Sign in to the Partner Portal

2. Open the Partner Marketing Portal

Select Partner Marketing Portal in the left sidebar.

3. Find the case study link

Scroll to the bottom of the page. You will find a link there to submit a case study.

4. Fill in the form and submit

Complete all the fields, add the text describing your case, and select Submit at the bottom of the page.

This field asks for the URL of your agency's public partner profile on umbraco.com. It is how your case study is linked back to your agency for everyone who reads it.

Public partner profiles are a benefit for Gold and Platinum Partners. You can find them on the Find a Solution Partner page.

  • Gold and Platinum Partners: open your profile on that page and copy the URL from your browser's address bar.

  • Silver Partners: you do not have a public profile link, so leave the field blank.

What happens next

Our marketing department reviews every submission before it goes live. Once approved, the case study is published on the Umbraco website. Allow up to two weeks from submission to publication.
