Can I copy or clone an existing Heartcore project?
Only a support agent can perform the migration. There is currently no self-service way to copy, clone, or duplicate the content structure and settings of an existing Umbraco Heartcore project into a new project.
Why can't I use Baselines for this?
Baselines are a feature of Umbraco Cloud CMS projects, not Heartcore. A Heartcore project cannot be selected as a Baseline source, and a new Heartcore project cannot be created from a Baseline. If you try, the Cloud Portal shows an error similar to:
"You have no projects that can become a baseline. To create a new project with a baseline you need to have at least one Cloud project."
This message appears because the Baseline dropdown only lists Umbraco Cloud CMS projects. Creating a plain Cloud CMS project first does not make your Heartcore content available as a baseline either, since the two project types do not share structure this way.
What should I do instead?
Contact Umbraco Support, or type "human" if you're already talking to Umboto.
Moving structure, settings, or content from one Heartcore project into another has to be done manually by a supporter — it is not something you or Umboto can do from the Cloud Portal. Include both project names (the one you want to copy from, and the new one) when you reach out, so support can identify them correctly.
